In deze weken heb ik nog wat extra rondgereden, waaronder een rondje door het Parc Natural de la Serra Calderona: een prachtige tocht van 85 km over twee bergen (750 meter) en een lang stuk oude spoorlijn dat is omgebouwd tot fietspad.\n\nZaterdag begint de terugreis met een deel van die route richting Teruel. Daarna gaat het dwars door Arag\u00f3n, langs Zaragoza, en vervolgens over de Pyrenee\u00ebn bij Formigal, waar het hoogste punt op 1870 meter ligt. Via Pau, Langon, Tours en Poitiers gaat de route verder naar Parijs. Naast de bekende hoogtepunten daar staat ook een bezoek aan Versailles op het programma. Vanaf Parijs fiets ik via Antwerpen naar Roosendaal, waar ik de trein naar huis neem.\n\nDe eerste week belooft pittig te worden met veel klimmen, niet alleen in de Pyrenee\u00ebn maar ook al richting Zaragoza. Op papier is de eerste dag zelfs de zwaarste qua hoogtemeters. Het weer kan een bepalende factor zijn: hier in Valencia is het nog zonnig en warm, maar in de Pyrenee\u00ebn kan het snel koud worden. Mocht het weer echt te slecht worden, dan is er altijd nog de trein.\n\nDe terugweg is met zo\u2019n 1900 km bijna 300 km korter dan de heenreis.
