{"id":247,"date":"2016-07-07T21:56:38","date_gmt":"2016-07-07T19:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/Peter.hegman.nl\/?p=247"},"modified":"2016-08-13T20:49:56","modified_gmt":"2016-08-13T18:49:56","slug":"dag-16-madrid-naar-talavera-de-la-reina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/Peter.hegman.nl\/?p=247","title":{"rendered":"Dag 16: Madrid naar Talavera de la Reina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Afgelopen nacht heeft het flink geonweerd en wat geregend maar echt afgekoeld was het niet.<br \/>\nOp de camping ontbeten daarna zo snel mogelijk Madrid uit zien te komen.<br \/>\nNa 35 km was de drukte van Madrid voorbij en fiets je weer door kleine dorpjes langs rustige wegen. Het is uitstekend fietsweer het is bewolkt nog niet zo warm (24 graden) en er staat een stevige wind uit het noord oosten, dus windje in de rug :-).<br \/>\nLangzaam verdwenen de wolken en werd het weer lekker zonnig en warm. Als ik in de verte keek zag ik links en rechts enorme bergen verschijnen maar voorlopig was het bijna vlak en ik ging als een speer.<br \/>\nOnderweg zag ik hier en daar wat beelden van Don Quichot, wat blijkt de roman speelt zich in dit deel van Spanje af (La Mancha), hoewel ik geen enkele windmolen heb gezien.<br \/>\nOm 14:30 was ik al op mijn geplande bestemming voor vandaag. Doorfietsen had teveel risico omdat de komende 100 km weinig dorpjes te vinden zijn. Dus heb ik een soort van hotel gevonden in Talavera de la Reina. Het was niet veel maar koste ook bijna niets. Omdat het vroeg in de middag was ben ik een beetje gaan rondlopen en zowaar, wat een leuk stad na wat googelen blijkt dat het door de Romeinen is opgericht en later door de Perzen overgenomen daarom zag ik veel vergelijk met b.v Sevilla, maar dan een stuk kleiner. Opvallend is wel dat je er geen enkele toerist ziet. Op de camping ontbeten daarna zo snel mogelijk Madrid uit zien te komen. Na 35 km was de drukte van Madrid voorbij en fiets je weer door kleine dorpjes langs rustige wegen.
